The Doveberry Inn is a stylish 11 guest room inn with pub and 32-seat restaurant. Guests enter into the open common room featuring pine floors and a full liquor bar. The 2 adjoining rooms are used for dining but could also be used for small corporate meetings or getaway events. Complete with a full gallery style commercial kitchen, the restaurant could also be leased to a chef for innkeepers who do not wish to be involved with food service.
All eleven guest rooms have private baths that are in excellent condition. 3 of the guest rooms are located in a section that was added on in 2002. These feature 3 gas fireplaces, and one of the rooms was turned into a suite and has a gas stove as well.
The generous owner's quarters consist of a large living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, office and bathrooms.
The property is located about 1/2 hour from both Brattleboro and Bennington on Route 100 in the popular Mount Snow area just north of Wilmington. Stratton Mountain is also 16 miles away.
The inn's highest revenue months are winter, followed by summer and fall foliage. The innkeepers usually take a break and close most of April and May, as well as some of November (June is wedding month and business picks up around Thanksgiving). The owners are in their 12th year of operation.
